Vínculos
Vínculos is the solo project of Cádiz-based artist, composer, and producer Carlos Cortés Bustamante. It brings together Andalusian music and jazz, balancing creative exploration with a deep respect for tradition. A multifaceted artist and tireless traveler, Carlos Cortés Bustamante is constantly in search of new musical landscapes. In recent years, he has collaborated with, accompanied, and produced some of the most prominent figures in the Spanish music scene. Through his flamenco guitar, he shapes this project – both eclectic and cohesive – where echoes of Andalusian, African, Caribbean, Sephardic, and Mediterranean influences emerge from his journeys and come come together in the authentic flamenco of Cádiz: a style rooted in tradition, informed by figures such as Manuel de Falla, and at the same time inherently cosmopolitan, creative, and free.
